Peter Clausi presents at this year’s PDAC convention about the local impact of the global conflict surrounding cobalt
Vasudha Sharma | March 9, 2018: At the 2018 Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) annual convention in Toronto, Peter Clausi, CEO of cobalt explorer CBLT Inc. (TSXV:CBLT), delivered an insightful talk about the local impact of the global conflict that surrounds the supply of cobalt.
Hosted at the pavilion of Ontario’s Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, Mr. Clausi spoke about Northern Ontario’s Sudbury-Gowganda Cobalt belt emerging as a favoured investment and mining region for international companies looking to meet their battery metal needs.
About 60% of the world’s cobalt is concentrated in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). But companies looking to avoid the ethical, political and legal complications of DRC’s cobalt supply are seeking safer alternatives. And this is where Mr. Clausi says Ontario can take the lead. Please have a listen.
