Lithium Junior Surges on Mineral Rights Agreement

Mineral rights covering an entire salar in Argentina sparked much speculation in a lithium junior Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, November 6, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):

Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp. (TSXV:LIT) shares powered 51% higher to $0.46 on Monday after the lithium junior announced that it has acquired a 100% interest in mineral rights totaling 23,700 hectares covering the entire Incahuasi Salar and basin in Catamarca Province, Argentina.

 

As well, shares of MedReleaf Corp. (TSX:LEAF) jumped 16% to $15.89 as the medical cannabis producer said it has been granted an amended licence from Health Canada to permit sales of medical cannabis at its second facility in Bradford, Ontario, which increases the Company’s total current licensed production and sales capacity by 80% to approximately 12,600 kg per year.

Fintech Select Ltd. (TSXV:FTEC), meanwhile, reported that it has been engaged in the technical integration of its POS Cryptocurrency solution over the past 60 days and said the website that will facilitate the activations of consumers accounts and link Cryptocurrency wallets to the Selectcoin closed loop cards has been developed and will be activated a few days before the announcement of its first physical locations. Fintech Select stock popped 44% to $0.325 following the announcement.

Finally, Essential Energy Services Ltd. (TSX:ESN) shares climbed 17% to $0.70 after the oilfield services company announced that the Federal Court of Canada ruled that the Tryton Multi-Stage Fracturing System does not infringe on a patent issued to Packers Plus Energy Services Inc.
