Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (CVE:RCK), a lithium junior, climbed after announcing results from its Georgia Lake lithium property in northwest Ontario

Grab sample assay results were good for shareholders of a lithium junior Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (CVE:RCK) shares jumped 19% to $1.05 on Tuesday after the lithium junior announced the initial results of prospecting grab samples taken from its 100%-owned Georgia Lake lithium property in the Thunder Bay Mining District of northwest Ontario. Sample results showed grades of up to 2.89% lithium oxide.
As well, shares of Uravan Minerals Inc. (CVE:UVN) plunged 69% to $0.09 as the uranium explorer said results of drill hole OR16-008 on its 100% owned Outer Ring property in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan were “decidedly disappointing, and highlights the technical challenges for intersecting deep exploration uranium targets in the Athabasca Basin, particularly with limited financial resources.”
Global Copper Group Inc. (CVE:ICU), meanwhile, reported the staking of an additional five mineral claims contiguous to, and surrounding, the patented mining claims recently acquired southeast of Cobalt, Ontario. Global Copper Group stock moved up 12% to $0.095 following the announcement.
In addition, shares of Zecotek Photonics Inc. (TSXV:ZMS) (OTCPK:ZMSPF) (CVE:ZMS) rose 5% to $0.295 as the developer of photonics technologies for industrial, healthcare and scientific markets said its total orders booked but not yet delivered at July 31, 2016 were $2,140,850.
Finally, Alix Resources Corp. (CVE:AIX) shares surged 60% to $0.08 after the junior explorer announced what it called a new, significant, lithium-rich clay discovery located near its Electra Project in Mexico.
